Details

The third edition of the quarterly Alternative Data Breakfast Series, hosted by Lowenstein Sandler and Amass Insights, will explore how regional differences shape the way alternative data is sourced, sold, and used across global markets. From Europe’s more stringent regulatory constraints to Asia’s fragmented but high-potential landscape, the conversation will uncover the practical, legal, and strategic challenges & opportunities that come with buying and selling data across borders. We'll dive into topics like the data categories that are underserved or underutilized in certain regions, distinctive features & peculiarities of data coming from different countries, and cross-border data regulations immediately affecting data licenses.

The morning will kick off with coffee, breakfast, and casual networking, followed by a panel discussion featuring Boris Liberman from Lowenstein SandlerJordan Hauer from Amass Insights, Ed Lavery formerly from Placer & SimilarWeb, Jon Kinderler from Strategic Value Partners (SVP) and Stewart Stimson from Jump Trading. We’ll dig into what’s working, what’s risky, and where the global opportunities lie when it comes to cross-border data monetization and alpha generation. A brief audience Q&A will follow the discussion.
